Electrical Design Engineer in Loughborough

Job Description

The Redline group have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer, based in Loughborough, to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and documentation of electrical wiring harnesses and other electrical work packages.
• Use SolidWorks Electrical to create electrical schematics, 3D models and manufacturing documents for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Generate electrical drawings and panel layouts with supporting electrical documentation (Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, Terminal Rail Layouts etc).
• Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments.
• Maintain a database of electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical or a similar CAD package.
• Experience with schematic capture and harness design.
• Ideal for a graduate with electrical design experience.
