Family Court Adviser – CAFCASS

Location: Coventry, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire

Pay Rate: £33.50 per hour (Umbrella)

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office, remainder working from home, visiting children and families, or attending court.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of public and private law proceedings.
• Complete assessments and prepare high-quality reports for the Family Court.
• Work directly with children and families to understand their wishes and feelings.
• Attend court hearings and provide professional recommendations focused on the child’s best interests.
• Liaise with local authorities, legal professionals and partner agencies.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience within children’s social care.
• Strong assessment, report writing and court work experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
