Job Title: Room Leader

Location: Mulberry House, Trinity Court, Sutton, SM1 1SH

Salary: starting from £32,000

Hours: 40 hours per week

What you ll need to succeed?

• Passion and dedication to providing world‑class care to children
• To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above
• It is a requirement to have at least a level 5 (Grade C) in GCSE Maths and English
• Prior experience of looking after children from 3 months to 5 years
• Prior experience as a Room Leader in a large‑scale nursery setting
• Strong communication skills and a team player

What you will be asked to do:

• You are responsible for the day-to-day management of your own room, encouraging good practice and being a good role model
• Provide the BEST experience for all children with safety and their well‑being at the centre of focus
• Promote positive working relationships with the parents and colleagues within your room
• You are responsible for supporting your colleagues in ensuring that they are completing planning, milestones and observations to the highest standards
• Drive a fun, action‑packed day of activities, following the EYFS framework
• Provide an enhanced and positive mealtime experience
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
