Contracts Supervisor

Location: Leeds

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday nights

We’re looking for a Contract Supervisor to support the delivery of Highways, Arboriculture, Landscape, Ecology and Civils projects across National Highways contracts. Working alongside the Contract Manager, you’ll help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with infrastructure experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the planning and delivery of multiple infrastructure projects.
  • Carry out site visits and assist with project planning and resource coordination.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets and commercial performance.
  • Support applications for payment and identify contract variation opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and operational teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Support continuous improvement and mentor site teams where required.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering Highways, Infrastructure, or Rail projects.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS.
  • CSCS Gold or Black card.
  • Good understanding of site management, safety, environmental & commercial aspects
  • Excellent ability to understand work scopes, drawings (including Traffic Management plans) & works programmes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
