Experienced Teaching Assistants – Surbiton and Surrounding Areas

About the role TimePlan Education are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools in Surbiton. We have a number of full-time opportunities available in welcoming and supportive schools.
These roles are ideal for candidates who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and are looking for a consistent, long-term position within education.
Key responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development in the classroom
- Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of engaging and effective lessons
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support behaviour management and encourage positive behaviour
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children’s learning and development
- Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
- Childcare Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Confident supporting behaviour management strategies
