Berry Recruitment is recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a temporary ongoing role based in Bristol.
This is a Monday to Friday position with a 9:00am start, working until all deliveries and collections have been completed. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, vehicle checks, paperwork completion, and assisting with unloading at delivery locations.
The Role:
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle across planned routes.
- Completing deliveries and collections to schedule.
- Assisting with unloading at customer sites.
- Completing vehicle defect checks before and after shifts.
- Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed correctly.
- Securing loads in line with transport regulations.
- Following driver hours and tachograph regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- CPC Qualification Card.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Understanding of driver hours regulations.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and assist with unloading.
- No more than 6 penalty points (endorsements considered).
