The Role
As Assistant Production Manager, you will work closely with the Production Manager and wider operational teams to ensure production targets, quality standards and customer expectations are achieved.
You will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, developing and motivating teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a culture of safety, quality and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
- Support daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency targets are achieved.
- Lead and develop production teams while maintaining compliance with H&S, GMP and site standards.
- Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement and support problem-solving activities.
- Collaborate across departments to optimise performance and support operational projects and audits.
Criteria
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience working towards production targets and operational KPIs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
