Medway Council is seeking an Income & Arrears Officer to build strong relationships with tenants, encouraging timely rent payments and reducing arrears in a defined area.
You will monitor rent accounts, apply the Council’s income collection policies, and work with partner agencies to support residents. The role involves calls, emails and home visits, and may include court appearances for tenancy breaches. Signposting to support services and audits are also part of the responsibilities.
