Electrical Engineer (Intermediate)

A well-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer.

Location: London or Birmingham (Hybrid working model) – NO SPONSORSHIP

Role Function

• To assist with the design of electrical systems for buildings as part of an integrated project team.

Requirements

• Third level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 3 years relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment.
• Knowledge & experience of current Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN Standards and IEC Standards.
• Previous UK / Ireland experience essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM experience preferred.
• Proactive, with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Duties

• Assist with detailed lighting calculations, cable sizing etc using Electrical Design software.
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software.
• Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, reports.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure design compliance.
