Assistant Manager – Bristol – Growing QSR Brand
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a high-volume quick service restaurant operation within a fast-growing and established hospitality brand.
You will be joining a busy Bristol location with a passionate team and a strong focus on delivering exceptional food quality, service standards and guest experience.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys being operationally involved, developing people and supporting the General Manager in driving performance and consistency across the restaurant.
You will play a key role in maintaining high standards, coaching the team and helping to create a positive culture where both employees and guests have an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of a high-volume QSR restaurant.
- Leading, motivating and developing a frontline team in a fast-paced environment.
- Driving excellence across food quality, service, cleanliness and operational standards.
- Supporting the delivery of key business KPIs, including sales, labour, customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Coaching Team Leaders and Shift Managers to strengthen their leadership capability.
- Ensuring smooth restaurant operations during busy trading periods.
- Taking ownership of key areas of the business, including training, compliance, stock control and team performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and guest experience.
- Maintaining a strong presence on the restaurant floor and leading by example.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or strong Shift Manager within QSR, fast casual or high-volume hospitality.
- Experience leading and developing teams in a busy operational environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service standards and food safety compliance.
- Confident supporting performance improvement and driving accountability.
- A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- Passionate about developing people and creating a positive team culture.
- Comfortable working in a KPI-focused environment.
- Resilient, energetic and motivated by delivering great results.
