Role Overview
You will be a versatile and ambitious Camera Operator & Video Editor who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys turning real-world moments into compelling visual stories. Working alongside experienced producers, editors and creatives, you will play a key role throughout the production process, from planning and filming on location through to editing engaging content for broadcast, digital and social platforms.
You’ll always work alongside a producer on set and will be trusted to capture clean, editorially sharp content while delivering to tight deadlines.
This role will generally be working Monday to Friday with some weekend work as well as early starts and evenings for shoots, with 3 days a week in our London office. Domestic and international travel may be required with overnights.
Qualifications and Experience
What you’ll need:
- Proven professional experience as both a Camera Operator and Video Editor.
- Strong experience using Sony mirrorless and cinema camera systems.
- Excellent editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, with experience of CapCut or similar editing software.
- Experience filming both widescreen and vertical-first content.
- Experience of lighting interviews and recording high-quality location sound.
- The ability to produce high-quality work whilst working to tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working with producers, clients and on-screen talent.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends and unsociable hours.
Desired Skills
It would also be beneficial if you have:
- Drone experience or a willingness to train.
- Experience of live or near-live productions.
- Knowledge of After Effects or similar motion graphics software.
- Experience working with PR agencies, marketing teams or commercial clients.
- Experience working on international productions.
