Data Delivery Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead key data and analytics initiatives, including the Enterprise Data Lake, BI platform, and Data Governance framework
• Ensure all project objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies
• Establish and maintain a robust enterprise-wide project governance framework
• Act as the primary interface with vendors delivering data platform components
• Oversee vendor performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs and contractual obligations
• Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and technology teams
• Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
• Deliver the implementation of the enterprise data governance framework

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience
• At least 3 years delivering data, reporting, analytics, or data platform initiatives in a regulated or complex environment
• Proven experience managing vendors and multi-million-pound budgets
• Strong knowledge of project governance frameworks and agile data management
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong financial management skills: forecasting, cost control, and benefits tracking.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Technology, Data, Finance, or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum, or equivalent are advantageous
• Experienced and comfortable using Azure DevOps and/or Jira
