Job Description
- Managing a varied caseload of privately funded family law matters.
- Advising clients on financial provision, separation, child contact and residence disputes.
- Handling pre-nuptial agreements, adoption and guardianship cases.
- Representing clients in hearings and proofs where required.
- Collaborating with colleagues and supporting the development of junior team members while maintaining exceptional client care standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Family Solicitor will be:
- A solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in family law.
- Experienced in managing a broad range of family law matters independently.
- Skilled in conducting civil hearings and proofs.
- Able to supervise, mentor and support junior members of the team.
- Possessing strong communication and client care skills.
- Proactive, organised and empathetic in their approach to sensitive legal matters.
- Familiar with legal aid work relating to guardianship matters, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
