Senior FEA Engineer

ARCA is partnered with an aerospace client looking for an experienced Senior FEA Engineer to join a fast-paced aircraft development programme.

This role is focused on finite element modelling and structural analysis. You’ll be responsible for building, interrogating and modifying complex FE models, delivering high-quality analysis and structural substantiation.

The work

• Build, interrogate and modify complex FE models using NASTRAN and HyperMesh.
• Perform static structural analysis
• Develop structural substantiation for metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Produce stress reports and certification documentation.
• Work closely with Design and Stress teams to resolve structural challenges and support design development.

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience building and modifying complex FE models using NASTRAN and HyperMesh.
• Aerospace structural analysis experience across metallic and/or composite structures.
• Experience producing stress substantiation and certification documentation.
• Able to work independently, solve complex engineering problems and deliver to a high technical standard.
