HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver (Temporary) – Manchester, Greater Manchester

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing trunking work with a leading logistics operation located in the Manchester area.

Pay Rates

Day Shifts: £19.95 per hour + £2.41 per hour holiday accrual (Start times 06:00–08:00)

Afternoon/Night Shifts: £21.39 per hour + £2.58 per hour holiday accrual (Start times 15:00–18:00)

The Role

• Minimal interaction with freight
• No loading or unloading required
• Professional and efficient operation of Class 1 vehicles
• Adherence to all driving and working time regulations

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points
