An established City law firm is seeking a Finance Paralegal to support a market-leading Banking & Finance practice on complex domestic and international transactions. The role offers broad exposure to transactional work, legal project management, client onboarding and business development activities within a supportive and high-performing team.

Description
- Assist fee earners on a variety of finance transactions and matters.
- Prepare and collate conditions precedent documentation.
- Draft ancillary corporate documents including board minutes and shareholder resolutions.
- Produce revised drafts of finance documents based on agreed precedents.
- Conduct and review company searches and prepare search review summaries.
- Coordinate signing and completion processes for financing transactions.
- Prepare completion checklists and transaction management documents.
- Liaise with overseas lawyers and other transaction parties.
- Assist with security registrations and related filings.
- Compile and prepare post-completion document bundles and bibles.
- Support client onboarding and compliance procedures.
- Assist with billing processes and matter management.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, pitches and marketing materials.
- Provide general administrative and legal support across the Finance practice.
Profile
- Degree educated with strong academic credentials.
- LPC, SQE studies or equivalent legal training preferred.
- Previous paralegal experience within Banking & Finance or a similar transactional practice area.
- Demonstrable interest in finance and lending transactions.
- Strong drafting, research and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience coordinating transactions and legal documentation preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology systems.
- Commercial awareness and professional judgement.
