Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (6-2/2-10 Shifts)

Location: Cambridgeshire (commutable from March, Wisbech, Chatteris, Ely, Peterborough and Whittlesey) Salary: 45,000 – 50,000 + Overtime Shift Pattern: 6-2 / 2-10

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge with excellent earning potential? We’re working with a well-established food manufacturing business in Cambridgeshire, who are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Engineer to their team.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a range of production machinery
• Work on a 6-2/2-10 shift pattern, with generous overtime available
• Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives on site
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• A recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship, or equivalent)
• Multi-skilled background, with solid mechanical and electrical experience
• Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
• Willingness to work the 6-2/2-10 shift pattern
