We are a charity based in Swindon, passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing in our community. We provide counselling services, creative therapies and workshops, enabling people to reach their full potential and improve their mental health.
We are looking for a hands on Operations Co ordinator who will work with the Project Manager on the day to day running of the charity. This will allow the Director to focus on strategy, fundraising and building partnerships. The Operations Coordinator will play an important role in ensuring our services run like clockwork, so our team can do what they do best: support our community.
As our Operations Co ordinator youll support the Project Manager to oversee the smooth running of the charity, youll be a key player in helping IPSUM grow and continue to deliver outstanding support to the people who rely on us.
Main responsibilities are working with the Project Manager , overseeing the day to day running of the charity and ensure services are delivered efficiently.
Manage the practical coordination of workshops and community outreach.
Make sure the charity complies with safeguarding standards, legal obligations, and sector best practices.
Administration tasks connected to the role.
Working with the Project Manager to support the team, counselling assessments and supporting the Music facilitators/mentors, art facilitators and volunteers.
Build a positive, inclusive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Work with the Project Manager and staff to identify training and development needs and help then grow their skills.
You will be responsible for the completion of counselling assessments.
Support funding applications and grant reporting by providing operational information when needed.
Working alongside the Project Manager ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards.
Regularly monitor and evaluate the services we provide.
Address and resolve abt operational challenges that may arise.
Ensuring policies and operations comply with charity operations comply with charity regulations, GDPR, safeguarding and health and safety standards.
