The Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver lessons to secondary-aged students within an SEN setting* Adapt teaching to suit a range of learning needs and abilities* Support students with engagement, confidence and independence* Maintain a structured, positive and inclusive classroom environment* Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider support team* Use clear routines and behaviour strategies to support learning* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required* Help students develop both academic and life skills
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status* Experience teaching secondary-aged students* Previous SEN experience is desirable* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills* A calm, patient and resilient approach* Confidence differentiating lessons and resources* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
