Slinger

We are currently recruiting an experiencedSlinger / Signallerfor an exciting construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious operative to join a busy site with ongoing work available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely sling and signal loads during crane lifting operations.
• Communicate clearly with crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication.
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out in accordance with the lifting plan and site procedures.
• Inspect lifting accessories before use and report any defects.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials around site.
• Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• ValidCPCS Blue Slinger/Signaller CardorNPORS with CSCS Logo.
• Previous experience working on construction or civil engineering projects.
• Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full PPE.
• Ability to provide recent work references.
