Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal AWS Cloud Architect to join a growing consultancy delivering complex, business-critical solutions across highly regulated environments.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud adoption and modernisation, helping organisations design, implement, and optimise secure, scalable and resilient AWS-based solutions. You’ll work alongside senior stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to define cloud strategy, influence technical direction, and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Defining cloud strategies, target architectures, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Leading enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernisation programmes.
• Designing secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud solutions.
• Providing secure, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud solutions.
• Providing technical leadership across architecture, platform engineering, and cloud delivery teams.
• Advising and influencing senior stakeholders within complex client environments.
• Driving cloud governance, security, resilience, compliance and operational excellence.
• Mentoring architects and engineers while helping develop cloud capability across teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years’ experience in cloud architecture, cloud strategy, engineering, and transformation delivery.
• Deep expertise across AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing and delivering complex cloud transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting experience.
• AWS certification.
• Active SC clearance.
