Location: Fareham Start Date: ASAP / September 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Pay Rate: £85 – £100 per day

Supply Desk is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN setting in Fareham. Working alongside experienced teachers, you’ll support pupils with a variety of additional needs, helping them gain confidence, achieve their learning goals and enjoy coming to school each day.

Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils individually and in small groups during lessons.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence and engagement.
- Assist with literacy, numeracy and intervention sessions.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEND professionals.
- Help create a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Promote safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Patient, caring and encouraging nature.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
