Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Graduate Quantity Surveyor (QS)   North Manchester with building envelope experience (cladding, roofing, façades, rainscreen systems, curtain walling   Position: Graduate Quantity Surveyor Award  for an award winning Building Envelope / Facades solutions business in North Manchester You will be involved with: 

• Assist with cost planning and tender submissions.
• Prepare subcontractor enquiries and comparisons.
• Measure and value works from drawings and BIM models.
• Support procurement of façade, cladding, roofing, and envelope packages.
• Assist with monthly valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Track project costs against budgets.
• Attend site meetings and progress reviews.
• Work with project managers, designers, and site teams.

 Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or similar.
• Building envelope experience through employment, placement year, internship, or site work.- essential
• Knowledge of cladding, roofing, façades, curtain walling, or external envelope systems.
• Good Excel skills.
• Understanding of JCT or NEC contracts.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence – essential
