Studio Admin Assistant
Reporting to: Studio Manager

Salary: £25K – £27K
We are seeking a Studio Admin Assistant for LAYER, a dynamic London-based design studio. The Studio Admin Assistant supports the day-to-day administrative and operational running of LAYER. They assist the Studio Manager and ensure that the studio environment is organised, efficient, and well-maintained, allowing the broader team to focus on creative and client-facing work. This role is essential to the smooth running of the studio and requires attention to detail and a genuine understanding of the importance of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations
- Help keep the studio tidy, organised, and well-stocked
- Complete a weekly groceries order
- Update login information
- Maintain the storage of equipment and prototypes in the studio
Diary and Meeting Coordination
- Assist the Studio Manager in managing calendars
- Answer the door entry system, and greet visitors to the studio
- Help set up the meeting room for visitors
Administrative Support
- Receive post (daily checking of mailbox) and send post (via post office)
- Keep admin records up to date and process correspondence
- Assist the Studio Manager in coordinating internal and external events
Finance Administration
- Help reconcile company credit/debit cards and expenses when needed
- Assist with processing supplier and client invoices
Travel and Logistics
- Assist in booking travel and accommodation for the team
- Help coordinate logistics for talks, events, and client meetings
- Support with packing and shipping prototypes and materials
Communications Support
- Flag issues on social media to relevant team members
- Keep contact lists and press information organised
- Help coordinate photoshoits and studio events
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and managing your time well
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in person
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Slack
- Work well in a team and enjoy helping others
- Fluency in English
