Warehouse Operative & Driver job
Job: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary: depending on experience.
What You Will Do
Ensure that all stock inventories are accurate and that stock results are in line with Company targets;
Move pallets within warehouse and load / unload company and 3rd party vehicles;
Tidy the warehouse and ensure good standards of housekeeping;
General Warehouse and driving duties;
Picking & Packing ,working from picklists;
Assist in all areas of the warehouse and work in a flexible team based approach;
Labelling boxes;
Off load deliveries coming in to the warehouse;
Checking off deliveries and put away in correct area;
assisting van drivers to preparing the vans for deliveries;
loading and unloading the vans;
adhering to health & safety policies and procedures;
meeting delivery deadlines;
Wrapping and unwrapping of pallets;
Lifting heavy goods.
Van driving in company van when required
What You Require
This role involves heavy lifting so successful candidates must be physically fit.
A strong work ethic, and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment
Must take pride in the standards and quality of your work
Counter balance Forklift license
Working on a secure mezzanine at a height
Must have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Must be 21 years old for company insurance and have a full clean driving licence
Minimum One year warehousing experience is also essential.
