We are recruiting enthusiastic graduates to work in Primary Schools across Newport as Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and ALN Support Assistants. No teaching qualification? No problem. If you’ve worked with children or young people through university placements, coaching, tutoring, childcare or volunteering, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role
- Support pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Who We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is essential (placement, coaching, tutoring, childcare, volunteering or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, reliable and adaptable approach
- Welsh-speaking desirable but not essential
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Location: Newport
Salary: £90 – £96 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time & Flexible Opportunities Available; Long-Term & Supply Roles
