You’ll be part of the Data Platforms team within the Insights and Data Global Practice, which has seen strong, sustained growth across a wide range of projects and sectors. Data Platforms is home to the Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Solution Architects and Business Analysts driving our customers’ digital and data transformation on modern cloud platforms.

Your Role
We’re looking for a versatile Full Stack Engineer who’s equally comfortable building data pipelines and the applications that sit on top of them. You’ll deliver robust, cloud-native solutions that turn data into things people actually use: dashboards, data products, secure APIs and, increasingly, GenAI-powered applications such as conversational and retrieval-based interfaces. You’ll work across the full stack and the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and processing through to the web and API layer, with quality, security and reliability built in from the start.
What youll be doing
Data engineering
- Design and build scalable data pipelines (for example Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt) and maintain data lakes, warehouses and real-time streaming solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance and compliance across platforms.
Full-stack application development
- Design, code, test and deploy scalable, efficient web applications, building responsive, interactive user interfaces with a modern front-end framework and robust server-side logic, databases and APIs.
- Develop APIs and microservices that expose data securely and efficiently.
- GenAI-powered applications
- Build the application layer for AI: conversational and RAG interfaces, agent-facing front-ends and APIs, and streaming LLM responses, integrating
GenAI and orchestration services (including patterns such as tool-calling and the Model Context Protocol) into production web applications with appropriate guardrails.
- DataOps, deployment and reliability
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (for example GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and deploy cloud-native microservices on Kubernetes, hosted on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Build in observability and monitoring for both data pipelines and AI-driven features, optimising for performance, scalability and reliability, including for the non-deterministic
- behaviour of AI components.
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer amd Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (must), Angular, Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development skills: Java and Node.js (must); Python or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift.Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, GitHub, ArgoCD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Fabric) or custom dashboards.
