Office Administrator & IT Support Coordinator

Are you the person everyone turns to when technology needs fixing, supplies need ordering, or the office needs organising?
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator & IT Support Coordinator to play a key role in the smooth running of our Manchester office. This is a varied position combining office coordination, first-line IT support, procurement, and finance administration.

The Role
As the go-to person for office operations and everyday IT support, you’ll ensure colleagues have the tools, resources, and support they need to work effectively. You’ll provide first-line technical support, coordinate suppliers and services, manage office administration activities, and support purchasing and finance processes.
While office administration and procurement are a significant part of the role, full training will be provided on SAP, purchasing processes, and finance administration. We’re primarily looking for someone with genuine IT capability who is keen to develop broader business support skills
Key Responsibilities
First-Line IT Support
- Troubleshoot laptops, printers, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Wi‑Fi, phones, and connectivity issues
- Log, triage, and resolve technical issues or elevate where appropriate
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain IT equipment records, software licences, and meeting room technology
Office Administration & Coordination
- Act as the main on-site contact for office operations
- Liaise with landlords, building management, contractors, and suppliers
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and consumables
- Coordinate couriers, deliveries, visitor arrangements, and document management
- Support meetings, events, travel bookings, and hospitality requirements
Procurement & Finance Support
- Raise purchase orders and process goods/service receipting within SAP
- Obtain supplier quotations and manage purchasing activities
- Maintain invoice, purchase order, and expense trackers
- Support cost tracking and vendor payment administration
Health & Safety
- Assist with office health and safety activities, emergency procedures, and statutory compliance requirements
About You
You’ll be a highly organised problem-solver who enjoys helping others and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Essential
- Hands-on IT support experience or an IT background
- Confident troubleshooting Microsoft 365, laptops, printers, Wi‑Fi, and connectivity issues
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Good Excel skills
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach - Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
Desirable
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system
- Procurement or purchasing experience
- Knowledge of office health & safety practices
