As a Deal Advisory Tax Manager, you’ll play a key role in advising clients on tax matters related to credit and private equity transactions, ensuring compliance and optimising outcomes. Based in Bristol, this role involves working on high-profile deals, helping clients navigate complex tax challenges in the professional services industry.

As part of a highly successful Private Equity & Credit team, you’ll work alongside experienced tax specialists, Partners and Directors on domestic and international transactions. The team offers exposure to buy-side and sell-side projects, restructurings, refinancing and acquisitions, creating an excellent platform for ambitious tax professionals looking to accelerate their careers in M&A and transaction tax.

Description

  • Provide tax advisory support on credit and private equity transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure tax compliance and optimise deal structures.
  • Prepare and review tax documentation for transactions.
  • Work closely with other departments to deliver seamless advisory services.
  • Advise clients on the tax implications of complex deals and structures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of junior team members through mentoring and training.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and industry trends to offer informed advice.

Profile

A successful Deal Advisory Tax Manager should have:

  • A strong background in tax advisory, particularly in credit and private equity transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA).
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
