CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Compliance Technician to be based in a high-profile building in Salisbury. He or she will be required to carry out Compliance testing across various types of equipment within a team of roughly 50 across this static site.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. Hours of work
- Monday to Friday
- 8am to 5pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- To carry out compliance testing in accordance with safety and the clients codes of practice on a range of specialist Laboratory equipment such as Microbiological Safety cabinets and HVAC systems.
- To ensuretest data is accurately recorded and recordsmaintained and toprovide oral and written reports on activities when required, whichmaybe usein regulator inspections (HSE)
- To liaise with Lab users and engineering support to ensure user and testing requirements are met, and to witness test activities of sub-contracted staff.
- To adviselab users and apply innovative solutions to achieve the clients business needs, deadlines, and targets
- In line with any other responsibilities, to perform any tasks assigned or objectives set by the Line Manager.
Requirements
- BTEC or Equivalent in a science or engineering subject. (Desirable)
- Experience in a scientific or technical field.
- Testing of laboratory equipment
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
