Salary: Up to £36,800 per annum Are you an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and a great working pattern? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional driver to join their growing team in Manchester. The Role As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering cable management and electrical distribution products to wholesale customers across the region. Your duties will include:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries (typically 1215 drops per day)
- Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
- Carrying out manual handling duties
- Assisting in the warehouse when required, including picking and packing orders
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
Working Hours
- 45 hours per week
- Monday to Friday (primarily)
- Early morning starts
- Flexibility required to meet business needs
- Occasional overnight stays may be required, paid at an additional £24 per night
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 multi-drop driving experience
- Preferred clean driving licence
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
- Physically fit, as manual handling is involved
- Able to work flexibly when required
Insurance Requirements: Due to the company’s insurance policy, applicants must:
- Be 25 years of age or over
- Meet the company’s driver insurance criteria
