BEAM Welcome Team Duty Manager

Salary: £35163 to £38009 (Inclusive of local weighting)

Are you a passionate hospitality professional with a background in duty management/supervision and a commitment to arts and culture venues?

We are looking for someone like you to join our team!

What will you be doing?

• Managing the safe public operation of BEAM, delivering our broad programme of films and live entertainment.
• Motivating and leading the Welcome Team in the delivery of an outstanding customer experience.
• Ensuring the smooth running of operations throughout the venue, and taking responsibility for the health, safety & wellbeing of all visitors and staff.
• Ensuring the safe evacuation of the entire building (members of the public and staff) in the event of an emergency; liaison with emergency services.

About you

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• Good numeracy and literacy skills, including GCSE passes at grade A-C (or equivalent qualification) in English and Maths and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working in a supervisory or management role in a busy, public-facing hospitality, retail or arts and culture environment.
• Experience of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
