Job Description
A warm and welcoming family based in Battersea,SW11, is seeking an exceptional part time Live-In Housekeeper to help createand maintain a beautifully organised, calm and inviting home environment, withthe role initially based in Battersea (and later relocating to Weybridge). Thisis a long-term position for someone who takes genuine pride in transforming andcaring for a home beyond standard housekeeping, with a strong eye forpresentation, detail and thoughtful organisation.
The role involves maintaining an exceptionallyhigh standard of housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing andwardrobe organisation, keeping the home clutter-free and consistentlyguest-ready, and caring for delicate furnishings and materials such as marble,stone, wood, glass, porcelain, silver and specialist finishes. The successfulcandidate will also manage household supplies and help maintain smoothhousehold systems. Daily responsibilities include dog walking and general careof the family’s dog and cats, with a genuine love of animals being essential.The role also includes occasional support with entertaining, such as light foodpreparation, preparing the home for guests, and assisting during smallgatherings to ensure the house is beautifully presented before, during andafter events. Additional paid responsibilities may include flower arranging,indoor plant care, light gardening and seasonal planting, as well as additionalcooking and meal preparation.
The ideal candidate is kind, trustworthy,discreet, highly organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a naturalpride in creating beauty, order and calm, and a strong ability to notice andrefine the small details that elevate a house into a welcoming sanctuary.
The position offers approximately 25 hours perweek, Monday to Friday (primarily mornings), with weekends and evenings off andmost afternoons free.
Accommodation is provided in the form of aprivate bedroom and bathroom in Battersea initially, and later private livingquarters at the Weybridge property, along with additional benefits includingaccess to a car, bicycle and health club membership.
Salary is £25-£30k gross per annum depending onexperience.
Role to commence as soon as the right candidateis found.
