Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented General Administrator to provide essential administrative support across our Finance and Factory Stores functions. This is a varied, hands‑on position that would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple departments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring day‑to‑day operations run efficiently.

You’ll play a key role in supporting financial processes, stock administration, and general office duties, working closely with colleagues across Finance, Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Administration

  • Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and employee expenses accurately.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Provide administrative support during month‑end processes.

Factory Stores Administration

  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems.
  • Book stock into the system electronically.
  • Assist with periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
  • Process stock transfers between locations.
  • Coordinate goods received and dispatched, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
  • Liaise with Production and Purchasing teams regarding stock movements and availability.
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory control activities.
  • Maintain organised stores records and administrative documentation.

General Administration

  • Perform accurate data entry across internal systems.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other business documentation.
  • Manage emails, telephone calls, and internal enquiries professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as required.

    About You

    We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.

    You’ll ideally have:

    • Previous administration experience (finance or stock control experience would be advantageous).
    • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • A positive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to support the wider business.

    Desirable Skills

    • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    • Previous experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
