Foreman

Overview

Abatec is recruiting for an experienced Foreman on a freelance basis to join our client, a well‑established civil engineering contractor, to work on a project near Bristol that will generate £140m a year for the local economy.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a large‑scale earthworks project with huge potential to uplift your existing career as an experienced Foreman. It offers a long‑term contract on a technically interesting and high‑value project over a 7‑year framework.

Responsibilities

• Have multiple years’ experience in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of precast concrete structures and formations.
• Ensure that quality, safety, and programme requirements are met.

Requirements

• Experience in RC structures and aspects of bulk earthworks.
• Valid CSCS and experience within infrastructure.
• Experience working with precast concrete structures and formations including earthworks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• A good understanding of CDM and construction health & safety protocols.

Salary and benefits

£280–£340 a day, CIS Umbrella.
