We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality foam products and are looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operative to join our growing production team in Middleton.

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation
- Operate large-scale manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine performance and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure products meet quality and production standards.
Manual Handling
- Lift, move and handle paper rolls and foam blocks weighing up to 25kg.
- Support production processes through safe and effective material handling.
Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Computer Use
- Use basic computer systems to manage workflows and production information.
- Accurately record production data and complete required documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling duties.
- Confident using computers in a workplace setting.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
Desirable Skills
- FLT Counterbalance Licence preferred but not essential.
- Training may be provided for the right candidate.
