EXPERIENCED ARCHITECT WITH MINIMUM 5 YEARS POST PART 3 OR SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

BLOCK NINE ARCHITECTS is a creative, design-led practice based in the heart of Edinburgh. We’re recruiting for a talented, motivated and proactive Architect at Senior level with great technical and design experience, or a Senior Technologist to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who’s technically minded as well as passionate about great design, thoughtful in their approach, and has the capacity to get involved at every stage of a project, from early concept and presentation, through technical design and detailing, to managing on site.
You’ll work across a wide mix of projects, from bold high-end new builds to sensitive refurbishments and conservation work, taking ideas from first sketch to final completion.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong technical experience, working across Stage 4 on building warrants and detailed construction packages.
- Good design skills and 3D presentation experience.
- Confidence managing multiple projects and working independently and as part of a team.
- Solid experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop & InDesign, SketchUp and 3D Rendering packages.
- Full Part 3 qualification with at least 5 years’ experience in practice, or a Senior CIAT Architectural Technologist.
Our work spans Residential, Commercial, Education, Hospitality, And Arts & Culture projects across Scotland, London and the Caribbean, so no two days are ever the same.
