Shift Production Manager – Healthcare

Shift Production Manager Permanent position  SE England Our SE based client develop and manufacture a range of Healthcare products, they are currently recruiting for a shift-based Production Manager.

Duties for this role will include :

• Ensuring production timelines run smoothly and efficiently
• Acting as site manufacturing lead when working day or night shifts
• Utilising software tools to keep up to date with deadlines and drive efficiencies across the team and delivery
• Responsibility for both shift team members during shift hours and out-of-hours staff
• Ensuring training records are maintained / updated for staff, escalating training needs as and when required
• Implementing Lean manufacturing strategies to support project improvements
• Liaising with onsite shift based engineering teams
• Ensuring standards are maintained within the team, time keeping , quality , behaviour
• Understanding key / critical changes to work flow and ensuring fluent communication within a busy , high throughput manufacturing environment
• Woking on both dedicated day and night shifts including weekend work

This role could suit someone who has previous experience of working in a busy GMP / Healthcare manufacturing environment with experience of leading medium – large shift operations / manufacturing teams
