The job role will involve:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to SEN Officers, SEND Team Leader, Head of Service and the wider SEND team.
- Maintaining accurate records on SEND databases and case management systems.
- Processing incoming correspondence, reports and assessments relating to EHC needs assessments and EHCPs.
- Maintaining confidential records in accordance with GDPR and Local Authority policies.
- Assisting with Tribunal and mediation administration, including collation of relevant documentation.
- Contributing to service improvement initiatives and administrative processes.
About you:
- Be approachable, friendly, flexible and helpful
- Experience of working in an administrative function role and use of data systems
- Have clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate IT skills and the use of Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Able to set up meetings and events and prepare agendas and minutes.
