We are currently seeking an experiencedPlastererMulti-Trader to join a busy social housing maintenance team working across properties in North London. This is a long-term temporary position carrying out a mixture of day-to-day repairs, planned works, and general maintenance within occupied and void properties.
The ideal candidate will be a strongPlastererwith reliable multi-trade skills and the ability to work independently, delivering high-quality repairs to a good standard.
Key Responsibilities
As aPlastererMulti-Trader, your dutieswill include:
Completing minor patch work through to full board and skim,renewalsand installations in occupied properties
You could also be undertaking multi-trade works including:
Minor plumbing repairs through to like-for-like works
Tiling (splashbacks)
Painting & decorating
General domestic repairs
Working towards a first-time fix wherever possible
Planning and managing your own daily workload to meet contract SLAs
Logging works accurately on a PDA and completing daily job sheets
Ensuring all work meetshigh standardsof safety and quality
Providing a professional, respectful service to tenants
Reporting anyadditionalor follow-on worksrequired
Maintaining van stock,equipmentand materials
Working independently or as part of a team whenrequired
Essential Criteria
Experience working in occupied residential settings
Strong customer service and communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence (max4points)
Ability to work independently across a dispersed housing patch
Desirable Criteria
Previoussocial housing repairs experience
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or time-served equivalent
Experience using a PDA
Understanding of responsive repairs and maintenance environments
Knowledge of SOR codes
