Job Description
Project Manager / Engineer, Newbury:
- Take full ownership of new product projects from prototype to mass production
- Extensive communication of progress, problems, solutions, timescales, finances with all stakeholders & customers
- Control project timelines, budgets, and technical delivery
- Coordinate with production, sales, and customer stakeholders
- Develop manufacturing processes and production documentation
- Ensure all procedures meet quality, safety, and traceability standards
- Identify risks early and resolve technical or delivery challenges
- Support material procurement and cost control activities
- Drive improvements in efficiency and manufacturing performance
The Successful Applicant
Project Manager /Engineer, Newbury:
- Excellent communicator who can influence across teams and customers
- Experience in a Project Manager or similar role within manufacturing
- Background supporting products from development into production
- Understanding of both low and high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
- Comfortable working without direct reports but influencing widely
- Engineering degree, HND, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Practical, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
