JOB ROLE – TO SUPPORT A 7 YEAR OLD BOY WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAY LEEDS 10 4 HRS X 52 PLUS 2
LEEDS 10 AREA – 4 HOURS PER WEEK ADDITIONAL 2 IN SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
£12.40 PER HOUR AT ALL TIMES – 5.6 WEEKS HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT
TRAINING WILL BE OFFERED – DBS COMPLETED REFERENCES TAKEN UP
We are looking for someone to support my son who has a happy disposition to promote his independence in the home and community. He loves to play on bikes, enjoys playing with his cars and trains and would benefit from going out in the community and attending a trampolining park etc. He will need support with personal care and can become anxious if he is in noisy environments. He enjoys music and his speech is improving and he uses sensory toys to help him to regulate (stress balls).
The ideal candidate will be patient and understand the need for confidentiality. They will be aware of the way a child with additional needs presents and be open to training.
