You will provide highly specialist Clinical Psychology assessment, intervention and advice, working directly with patients and their family. You will also work indirectly, providing advice to other NRC staff in order to meet the psychological needs of patients.
You will contribute to the teaching and training of NRC staff in order to develop their skills and knowledge, in meeting psychological need.
You will provide direction and clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists within the team, and may be the primary supervisor for a trainee Clinical Psychologist on placement with us.
You will contribute to the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of the service.

You will work with the whole range of conditions, according to service needs. This post will suit someone for whom neuropsychology is part of a broader interest in recovery and rehabilitation. This post is entirely based at the NRC, but organisationally it sits within the Department of Clinical Psychology & Neuropsychology at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This means that there are excellent opportunities for professional support, CPD and networking.

Planning for the NRC is in its advanced stages, and the building will be ready in the summer of 2025. This role will be temporarily based at our current unit Linden Lodge at City Hospital until we move to the 70 bed NRC facility in autumn 2025.
