Nigel Wright Group are delighted to be supporting a highly successful and growing FMCG, consumer led business in the appointment of a Finance Business Partner.

This is a genuinely commercial role where you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders from across the business helping shape decisions through insight, analysis and robust financial challenge. Operating within a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in driving performance, identifying opportunities and supporting the delivery of ambitious growth plans.

The Role

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to key commercial stakeholders across the business.
  • Provide meaningful analysis and insight to support operational and strategic decision making.
  • Deliver regular reporting, performance reviews and financial commentary.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting and planning cycles, ensuring robust assumptions and clear visibility of risks and opportunities.
  • Analyse business performance, identifying key trends, drivers and areas for improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate commercial initiatives, investments and growth opportunities.
  • Analyse and model complex financial data to deliver commercial recommendations and insight to the executive team.
  • Challenge decisions constructively while providing solutions-focused recommendations.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting, forecasting and business performance processes.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A role.
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate clear commercial recommendations.
  • Confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at varying levels across a business.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large volumes of data.
  • Naturally curious, proactive and commercially minded.
  • Experience within a fast-paced environment such as retail, consumer goods, FMCG, leisure, logistics, travel or a similar sector would be beneficial.
