Civils & Groundworks Site Manager – Midlands

Location: Midlands Duration: Ongoing / Long-term Rate: DOE Start: ASAP

We are currently looking for an experienced Civils & Groundworks Site Manager to join a busy project in the Midlands.

The successful Site Manager will have a strong background in groundworks, civils and infrastructure, with experience managing site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day site operations.

Duties:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Supervising groundworks and civils activities
• Managing labour, plant and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme
• Reading and delivering RAMS
• Liaising with Project/Contracts Managers, engineers and clients
• Maintaining site records, diaries and progress reports
• Ensuring quality and H&S standards are maintained

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Civils/Groundworks Site Manager
• SMSTS – Essential
• CSCS – Essential
• First Aid
• Strong H&S knowledge
• Experience with drainage, earthworks, foundations and heavy civils
• Full UK driving licence
