We are excited to be recruiting for an Accountant based in Craigavon to join a successful organisation. The role is permanent and part-time, 3 4 days per week, this role is ideal for a qualified accountant seeking a rewarding role with flexible hours.

The Accountant will be responsible for:

• Monitoring business financial performance and supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis.
• Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and latest best estimates/forecasts.
• Providing commercial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and VAT requirements.
• Identifying and supporting business improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
• Developing, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
• Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors as required.

What you need to have for the Accountant role:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within a manufacturing environment would be desirable
• Proven experience in preparing and processing month-end management accounts.
• Confident and proactive team player with a hands-on approach and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyse, interpret and challenge financial information.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication, presentation and IT skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
