My client is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join them on a temporary basis to look after some key projects over the coming months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small finance team and make a real impact in a growing business. There is the opportunity of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Description
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the FD with the budgeting and forecasting process – providing robust financial analysis and engaging with relevant stakeholders to ensure plans are aligned with divisional priorities.
- Assisting with the current Internal Audit process and producing the key reports needed – ensuring effective internal controls are maintained.
- Strengthening processes and controls in finance – implementing new procedures and process improvements and bringing the finance team on the change journey with you.
- Preparation and submission of month-end reporting
Profile
You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and have proven experience at a Financial Controller / Finance Director level, with the willingness to be hands-on.
Experience within the manufacturing / construction sector would be very beneficial. Those from a professional services / financial services background will not be considered.
SAP experience would also be useful.
Availability is also key for this role – my client would like someone to start around the beginning of September at the latest.
Job Offer
- Up to the equivalent of £80,000 on a daily rate basis (please note this role sits inside IR35). £350 per day paye / £400 per day umbrella company
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office in Harlow and 2 days from home.
