Circa £45,000 (Dependent on skills and experience) Permanent Full Time / 37 Hours Peterborough – Hybrid (Monday in office) Double Matched Pension Scheme (up to 21% combined) Private Healthcare

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver advanced analytics, dashboards and insight products that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Apply statistical analysis, predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to complex asset management challenges.
  • Develop forecasting, regression and classification models that improve performance and support investment planning.
  • Build repeatable, scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows to improve efficiency and insight delivery.
  • Use storytelling and visualisation techniques to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work alongside Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop and scale innovative analytical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to apply analytics, predictive modelling and AI-enabled approaches to business problems.
  • Work with innovation programs to leverage AI and other emerging technologies.

What we’re looking for

  • Technical Experience – Degree qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Advanced SQL and Python and/or R skills.
  • Experience delivering complex analytics and insight products that drive business value.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive analytics and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience using Power BI or equivalent data visualisation tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data structures and working with complex datasets.
  • Skills & Behaviours – Be naturally curious, with a passion for exploring data and identifying opportunities to create business value.
  • Take ownership of your work, delivering high-quality outputs with attention to detail.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes, analytics and business outcomes.
  • Balance innovation with pragmatism, focusing on solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy solving complex problems.
  • Be self-motivating.
  • Desirable: Experience working with senior stakeholders, building automated data pipelines, and exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary analytics, engineering or data science teams would also be advantageous.
