What you’ll be doing
- Deliver advanced analytics, dashboards and insight products that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Apply statistical analysis, predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to complex asset management challenges.
- Develop forecasting, regression and classification models that improve performance and support investment planning.
- Build repeatable, scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows to improve efficiency and insight delivery.
- Use storytelling and visualisation techniques to translate complex findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work alongside Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop and scale innovative analytical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to apply analytics, predictive modelling and AI-enabled approaches to business problems.
- Work with innovation programs to leverage AI and other emerging technologies.
What we’re looking for
- Technical Experience – Degree qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced SQL and Python and/or R skills.
- Experience delivering complex analytics and insight products that drive business value.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Experience using Power BI or equivalent data visualisation tools.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data structures and working with complex datasets.
- Skills & Behaviours – Be naturally curious, with a passion for exploring data and identifying opportunities to create business value.
- Take ownership of your work, delivering high-quality outputs with attention to detail.
- Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes, analytics and business outcomes.
- Balance innovation with pragmatism, focusing on solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Have a strong analytical mindset and enjoy solving complex problems.
- Be self-motivating.
- Desirable: Experience working with senior stakeholders, building automated data pipelines, and exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary analytics, engineering or data science teams would also be advantageous.
