As the business enters an exciting phase of growth and commercial scale-up, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Engineering Programme Manager to help drive the successful delivery of complex engineering programmes.

The role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Programme Manager who enjoys bringing structure, pace, and accountability to technically complex projects. Working across engineering, operations, commercial, and supply chain teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering programmes.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, commercial, and supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain integrated programme plans and a Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
  • Manage programme schedules, KPIs, risks, dependencies, and recovery plans.
  • Oversee supplier and EPC contractor performance, ensuring commercial and contractual objectives are achieved.
  • Provide clear programme reporting and strategic updates to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Establish effective programme governance, controls, and reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • Significant programme management experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or infrastructure.
  • A proven track record of delivering or recovering complex engineering programmes.
  • Strong programme planning, scheduling, governance, risk, and resource management skills.
  • Experience managing EPC contracts or major engineering suppliers.
  • The ability to lead multidisciplinary technical, operational, and commercial teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a scale-up, R&D, or innovation-led environment would be highly advantageous.
