Miryco are delighted to be partnering with a growing mortgage provider making a huge splash in the UK and European mortgage market

They are seeking a Mortgage Case Handler to support a growing mortgage team.

The role involves handling pre-application enquiries, compiling complete files for underwriting, and performing checks prior to mortgage completion. While a strong understanding of the UK mortgage market is beneficial, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cases and intervene with manual instructions to conveyancers, credit agencies, and surveyors as needed.
  • Conduct pre-underwriting tasks such as flood checks, title updates, credit checks, and product validations.
  • Verify mortgage offer documents to ensure accuracy in interest rates, loan amounts, and special conditions.
  • Review submitted documentation including identification documents, Certificates of Title, signed offer documents, and insurance certificates.
  • Generate and review completion reports necessary for funding mortgage completions.
  • Liaise with and develop strong working relationships with external contacts such as mortgage brokers, surveyors, and conveyancers, and coordinate with internal departments to obtain information or resolve queries.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ideal for someone with 2-4 years in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing, assessing, and applying documents with accuracy and diligence.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to evaluating risk.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
